Here is the necklace I created, I love how it came out. What do you think? I love the colors Lorelei chose and all I added was the shell focal, stick pearls and my own handmade clasp.

This is a gorgeous piece, so simple and chic, and yet complex and really well thought-out. I'm loving the stick pearls with the challenge beads; they bring a great texture to this! The focal, too. It's a very modern-looking design, with very modern colors, and yet the colors and textures are so natural. Nice way to bring it all together! :)

ReplyDeleteI particularly like that you let the chain be so important. I know a few out there has thougt the chain was a difficult element, but I personally really like it. And you made it really prominent!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much everyone for all the super nice comments. I had a ton of fun with this challenge. I had several designs in my head and this is what came out. I didn't mind the chain as much as others did I chose to make it front and center because I love the draping effect it made.
I wish I had a pic of someone wearing it because it is really nice on.
I cannot wait to participate in the next one!!!
