Button Crazy

After having done a couple button hops I am obsessed with buttons. I love them.
Today hubby, daughter and I went to the Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck, NY.
We had so much fun walking around, looking at yarn, seeing all the sheep, alpacas and lamas, eating great fair food and shopping. For buttons.
I wanted to share with you the buttons and lampwork spacers I bought from 4 lovely artists.

-I grabbed these leaf beads the second I saw her booth. See that tin? It's all taped up. Yep, surprise buttons. I couldn't wait to get home and see them.

EDIT 5:45AM: I totally just realized that that last button shot is a totally cool Macro photo.

  8. Oh, you totally scored on buttons!! I got some cool metal ones at Tuesday Morning last week. I'm with you, after doing the button challenges, I'm even more in love with them. The buttons in the tin are seriously cool. I love the leaf ones too, they remind me of some from an etsy seller. Check these out. http://www.etsy.com/listing/79288940/2-wood-buttons-tree-branch-buttons-2-34?ref=sr_7a01e92115dbbd6c561ddd4f3bbd92dbbf1290bce927db14cd9741689a05b539_1318778313_14091977_wood_button

  13. Those buttons are fantastic! Lucky girl! I have a thing with buttons too, but don't use them and don't sew. Wish I did. I just look at the buttons, and hold the buttons, and ... well, never mind!
