Helpless

I  am not even sure what to write right now but I feel I need to put pen to paper.
I just got a phone call from my husband that he caught his finger (pinkie) in a saw at work. He is a carpenter/cabinet maker. I am feeling so helpless because they (friends) are taking him to the hospital about an hour away for treatment. I am a very independent person so before the baby I would have jumped in the car and met him there. I can't be there for him because of the baby (it is lunch then nap time) and I am feeling very helpless. I am not sure what exactly happened and what  is going to happen but all I can do now is pray and clean.

Awww sweetie, feeling like you can't do anything is awful! Make a good homestyle dinner so when he gets that finger all bandaged up he can come home to a house full of love and warmth!

After all, that is what you excel in, giving love and making people feel special! Sending your hubby positive energy and healing thought!

{Hugs to you darlin!}

I hope your husband is okay. I've been in this situation, to make you feel better, there really is nothing you can do for him, let the doctors do their magic and take care of the baby. Dragging a baby in the car then to a germ filled hospital isn't going to make his finger better and he has friends with him. My daughter was in intensive care four states away with a blizzard between us-I was hysterical. My husband drove through the night to get to her and I stayed home to get the phone. Talk about helpless feeling-but it was the right decision for one of us to stay home and one to go-at the time I felt horrible but on hindsight it was the right thing to do. All the best to your family. xoxo Pink
