Eye Candy

Don't have much to say tonight. Hubby and I went with my In-Laws and got new cell phones for Christmas. I got an Evo which is amazing. Is it possible to be in love with a phone? I might be. It does everything and more, it even has a kick stand so you don't have to hold it.
My poor little girl is getting her eye teeth and has been miserable at night. She made me rub her face till she fell asleep tonight, so sweet.
I have been trying to come up with the right Christmas presents for my parents and my In-Laws who have both been very helpful this year as we struggled (and still struggle) with money. What do you get someone that says thank you in 3 foot high letters that doesn't cost over $100? *sigh* This is the hardest part of Christmas shopping, I keep thinking of really great gifts only to have them be over our budget.
Here's a couple of things I made and a sneak peak at my entry for Lorelei's Michaels Challenge which shall be revealed on December 17th.

Showing thankfullness is hard to be sure but the best gifts are those that spark an interest or love of something that mean the most. One year I put together a cross-stitch kit for my mother-in-law for a pattern I knew she had and hadn't bought supplies for. Yes they did require some specialty threads but even with that the cost was reasonable. I hope this helped. Love Love Love your creations!

I love your sneak peak. And your other pieces. I like Kristen's ideas. Thoughtfulness is what counts in gift giving.

Love your pieces!
Regarding the gift is hard to say without knowing the people. But I am sure that if you stay true to your heart and really listen to what it indicates will be a great thoughful gift, you will make the perfect in-budget purchase.

Love the sneak peek too! I am so in the same place as you right now - How about cooking them an awesome meal? It seems to be a running theme - cooking. I can't wait until it's all over I feel like Scrooge.Isn't that awful - this time of year is just too stressful for me.Love that bracelet!

Hi Shannon, your pieces are wonderful! Oh, shopping for inlaws, that's a challenge! Good luck. Poor sweet baby, I'm glad we don't remember teething. She's got a wonderful mommy. Yes, you should take the Stephanie course, its wonderful. You would have a ball. Take care, and happy holidays Shannon. Hugs, Riki

Christmas gifts can be a challenge especially in these economically trying times. What about a family photo in a handmade frame? Wishing you and your family a blessed holiday season. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a kind comment!!!
