Welcome to the One Crayon Color Challenge!
Today is reveal day and I am pretty excited because I was like a crazy person and created my pieces the day after the announcement was made that I was accepted. Yup, I love my color.
My color is brown :-) I love brown in jewelry. I love Vintaj because it lends itself so well to brown. I love copper because it works with brown. I love Bronzite beads, they are my favorite.
Here is the color palette which inspired me,
When I think of brown I think of the perfect cup of coffee, dark, rich, deep brown and as you add cream (I love cream) it gets lighter and lighter to a silky creamy brown.

Flower charms from Nancy Schindler of RoundRabbitExtra
Charm from Nancy Schindler, beads are vintage lucite and the caps are from an old godiva tin which I cut, dapped, filed and punched holes in (nope I didn't get to eat the chocolates)
My etched copper key, lampwork bead from Cherylsart and vintage lucite beads
Charms from nancy Schindler and bronzite beads
Do you love brown, let me know by leaving a comment?
Thanks for stopping by, I really do appreciate it.

Shannon, no wonder you were so excited to post these designs! They are gorgeous!! I have to say that the bead caps you created using a godiva tin is so darn creative and cool!!!! I hope you got at least one piece of chocolate!
Thank you so much for participating in the hop!
Your pieces are beautiful! Love the tin caps! My only problem with your posting today is that I am now craving a capuccino with chocolate...ugh!
Ok, all I can say is BRILLIANT! I love your pieces. I had never thought of how wonderful brown is until you said Vintaj! and Godiva tin bead caps! I do have to say though, that the bracelet and earrings would look really good on me! :) Beautiful pieces.
Love your design! You made brown sing!
Love brown! smokey quartz is one of my favorite stones to work with. Really lovely pieces!
You go girl! I love brown in everything from jewelry to decorating, to clothing, to chocolates!
I love all your pieces, but the last pair of earrings is my favorite--so elegant!
Oh Shannon, these are all so lovely. I'm having a tough time picking a favorite so I think you should send them all to me so I can try them on and see! ;-) Brown is such an over looked color, but you've made it jump out and take front seat!! Your designs are awesome!
I love them all! Beautiful!! I would not have picked brown but I see why you did. Great Work!
Shannon your pieces are gorgeous! Love the different shades of brown you used! I also love the idea of using the old Godiva case as bead caps - ingenious!
I love your etched pieces, and Nancy's charms are beautiful (I tend to hoard her pieces!). Beautiful work!
Hi Shannon,
Love your pieces, they are all very beautiful. My favorite is the necklace.
Therese
You do make brown look yummy. I am really taken with that first set. It does remind me of a latte and is just a gorgeous color palette. I love the godiva tin bead caps. I will be filing that idea away and maybe be taking a trip to the closest godiva store. :)
Nice! I'm glad you called out the bead caps specifically because at first I simply though the beads themselves were sriped white and brown. I had to pull up the larger picture to see the caps, they blended so smoothly.
What fun that they came from a godiva tin! Very nice!
Everything is beautiful. Love the etched key necklace. It's my fav. Great job.
You are going to have everyone craving a little brown in their summer wardrobes, now that you've shown us how stunning it can be with white! Those bead caps are SO clever! I simply can't choose a favorite - I love everything!
You sure made brown jump off the page! I am loving all these pieces, esp. the first set. I did not realize that those were bead caps until I enlarged the photos. Neat idea!
Great job Shannon! I love them all, but those last earrings are really cool! I think I like bronzite too!
Shannon, this is just perfect! I just told Diana that white-beige-brown is a combination I found extremely elegant and lovely to wear! While I am not fond of brown at all, your designs are rich and elegant, with the perfect balance between light and dark colours... the charm flowers are gorgeous, and add a delicate and feminine touch to what could otherwise have been a more 'tough' palette. Love it!
Mmmmm Chocolate! Shannon, I love the key necklace! I also love how bold your first set is! Just gorgeous woman!
Keep inspiring girl!!!
{Hugs!}
Love what you came up with, Shannon. Very trendy and yet classic.
Wow! Your pieces made me want a yummy cup of coffee. Very creative in using an old godiva tin as caps. Very fitting for the colour you chose. Loved all your pieces!
I love brown and it is a good color for me to wear. Your pieces are so original and creative. Love the tin bead caps and your use of Round Rabbit charms. I think they would all look good on me. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Love them all, they're such gorgeous wearable designs. Think the bracelet and matching earrings are my faves. :)
Lovely. I think brown gets a bad rap. You certainly showed off the warm and beautiful side of this color, nice work.
You really rocked the brown! Looks fantastic!!
Lovely stuff -- and I have the strangest craving for a mochachino....
Love love love that first set! Reminds me of marshmallows :)
Beautiful!!!
Wowsers! Who would think brown could be so beautiful! Love those Charms with bronzite bead earrings - Hot!
Oooh - that first bracelet and earring set is making me giddy! I totally LOVE it!!! You must have been bursting at the seams all this time. Fantastic work :D
Wow Shannon, A godiva can. That is thinking outside the box. I would love a closer look at those. Very cool. I loved the bracelet. You necklace is stunning too. Great job!!
Awesome pieces - loved that you made bead caps from the chocolate tin!
Just one word... gorgeous! All three are a delight to the eyes.
First, I'm so very sorry it's taken me so long to hop over here. I'm quite far behind these days.
Now, your pieces are AWESOME!! I'm quite fond of brown myself, but you really it made it feel luscious and luxurious. I don't even think I could pick a favorite among the items you created. Fabulously done!! :)
Ooh those final earrings are like the foam on a latte! Lovely. I really like your use of the tortoise shell link in the bracelet as well, nice touch.
Really pretty!
