Here is the palette for this week:
Gotta love Design Seeds, these colors are so beautiful. I will admit I struggled with this palette, I almost never create in these colors and I don't think I have ever created with all of them at the same time.
Till now :-)
Here is the necklace I created for this week:
It all started with these Czech glass flowers and my fused copper rings
Repeated 3 times
Then I added this beautiful lampwork glass bead Pinkbeach from and spacers from TierraCast
Then this porcelain pendant from Nancy Schindler and layered with a vintaj butterfly
I threw in some teardrop glass beads, vintage lucite beads and my own forged copper clasp
Here's the palette for next week:
The rules:
Look at color palette.
Be inspired.
Gather supplies inspired by that color palette.
Create something wonderful.
Anything, jewelry, clothes, a painting, even a big 'ole mess.
Take a picture.
Post on your blog.
Link palette to Design Seeds.

Play again the following week!

Hi Shannon! You know I played along ;-) I made some more pieces and here's the link to my blog post -

PS I forgot to say I love your necklace! I love how completely different it is from anything I made, yet contains the same colours, and even came from the same inspiration board! This is a brilliant challenge.
What a darling piece! I love the sweet colors and those peanut beads!
I'm playing along today as well:

Beautiful necklace, Shannon - it's perfect for summer, if you ask me! You've really gotten asymmetrical design down, and this is just a great combination of components.
This is one of my fave colorways right now, and I wish I'd remembered to play along :) Ah well, next time!
Really like this piece and the colors go so nicely together!
Hi Shannon,

It hit me THIS morning that I hadn't worked on this palette as I had planned. . .well, I turned that one around real fast! Here's the link to what I created: http://craftyhope.blogspot.com/2012/06/finally-friday-and-some-links.html
Now, your piece just SINGS! The copper worked out perfectly with those bright shades. Better than I would have imagines. You've got a great eye! And I love those faceted beads you have in that coral-y color. They're perfect! Nice job!
Next week's palette is so very Zen. Hmmmm, I wonder how hard it'll be!
Beautiful!! I was so excited to try and join in this week but didn't quite manage it since a storms knocked my Internet out. Maybe I'll get it backto link up in time. But even if I don't got to say I'm happy to have found the challenge
Well I finished up mostly :)
