If you are a follower of my blog you know I love color challenges. I was so excited for this challenge and when I received my e-mail from Erin where she gave me two color palettes to choose from I let out a little squeal. I chose to make something for both color palettes because I liked them both.
First up I chose this Vintaj butterfly. From it I wire wrapped a lampwork glass bead and an agate.
Then I wire wrapped a porcelain button with a teardrop chalcedony.
To finish the necklace I wire wrapped dozens of smoky quartz beads.
For palette #2 I started with the blue focal from Round Rabbit.
To it I wire wrapped lampwork glass beads, gemstones and porcelain beads.
To finish I added a lampwork glass dangle.
Finally Friday
Today is also the reveal of what I made from this Design-Seeds palette:
I started with this beautiful handmade button.
To the button I wire wrapped several chalcedony teardrops.
For the chain I wire wrapped crystals and these striped teardrop glass beads.
The result is a simple, pretty and flirty necklace.
Here is the palette for December 14th:
Can't you feel the cold air hitting your lungs when you look at this picture?
Stunning!
Hope to see you back here in 2 weeks!
~Shannon

For some reason, your color palettes do not show up on my screen - but your finished pieces are beautiful nonetheless!
I LOVE love LOVE the bracelet!
Both of your pieces are wonderful. You have such a feel for combining disparate elements and making them go together beautifully. Love both the necklace and the bracelet.
Really beautiful pieces!! I adore your bracelet!
Great job! Really great pieces, my favorite though has to be the Chilean volcanoes!
Love both of those color plaettes and your pieces sure do showcase those colors! Gorgeous pieces!
I love all of these, but the bracelet is just amazing and totally my style. I love those Vintaj butterflies and your seems totally at home among those gorgeous beads.
I swear, every post I come to, I fall in love with a new pallette! These are beautiful and I love both pieces, so unique and so pretty!
Love that pop of bright blue in the bracelet.
All gorgeous, Shannon... for some reason I am really drawn to the bracelet: Nancy's focal is amazing and you have done an excellent job incorporating the other elements. Bravo!
Weren't the Challenge of Color palettes just beautiful? I was so happy with the ones I got. You made such a gorgeous piece with yours! You did a fantastic job on this challenge!
I absolutely love that the lampwork bead you chose for your first necklace pulls in all of the colors of your palette - what a fantastic happenstance!
And I loooove that blue focal from your second piece - it and the porcelain beads pick up the palette colors perfectly. Bravo!
I like both of your pieces but the focal in the bracelet is really stunning. Good job.
I love the palettes and the blue focal on the bracelet is perfect. Nice job!
Beautiful, beautiful! I really like how you focused on the blues in the color challenge palettes, but were able to capture the different characters of each shade in the final pieces. Good for you!
Hi Shannon, I love your creations and the color palettes are really sharp.
Cheri
Lovely pieces for the challenge Shannon, your pallets are beautiful
Wow that is some gorgeous eye candy! I'm absolutely loving the art buttons in your pieces - those are amazing!
Beautiful choice of beads and designs with the color palettes ~JLynn
Fabulous - these are beautiful designs, your palettes were gorgeous as are your pieces!
Nicely done! I love how you used the buttons. I have to admit that they flummox me! I am happy that you could join me on this color full journey! Enjoy the day. Erin
Beautiful - love the butterfly necklace!
Beautiful work as always, Shannon! I keep going back to that lovely bracelet, I love the way the blue of the Round Rabbit focal makes the rest of the beads "pop"! Beautiful!
Shannon, I always love your creativity! I especially like how you wire-wrapped the donut in the necklace. I've never quite been able to figure out how to wrap a donut... so instead, I get mine with jelly filling and just eat them. :)
Hope you have laughter in your day! Thank you for always being an inspiration in mine!
{Hugs!}
Dawn
Oh Shannon! All of your pieces are just stunning as always, I love seeing the beautiful and creative ways you use color <3
Beautiful pieces. Great palette selections!
I love the bracelet! The blue focal is perfection!
Hi Shannon,
I am just now getting a chance to visit the Challenge of Color blog hop, it has been crazy busy for me.
I love all of your pieces the two for the Challenge of Color and your Friday color challenge. The colors in your first two palettes are amazing and so are your necklace and bracelet they are simply gorgeous.
The necklace for your Friday challenge is stunning! You do wonderful work I am always in awe of your work.
Therese
Oh yeah, I can feel the cold air, it's just starting in ernest here. You did a beautiful job with all three palettes, That blue focal is just so perfect in the bracelet especially
Shannon, as always your work is beautiful and inspiring. You have such a gift...thank you so much for sharing it with your admiring public! Your wire wrapping is to die for.
Fantastic interpretations of the color palettes -- gorgeous!
Very unique pieces, and great use of the color pallets.
Your bracelet is precious, but I am in love with the necklace from your first palette choice. It looks like it tells a story by C.S. Lewis: "The Bead, the Button, and the Butterfly!"
What great pieces. I really like your bracelet. It just seems to really mimic the color palette to me. And your Design-seeds piece is great, too. Great job.
Beautiful pieces to match your two stunning palettes. I love the bracelet!
Look at you go! you managed to get lots done for your challenges. I just love the first necklace with all the lovely colors. And you even managed to wire wrap all those beads!
Your second color challenge piece is on the sleek modern side. I love the blue focal.
And of course your Finally Friday piece is full of lucious chalcedony beads. A lovely piece!
Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done!
