Goals - Week 4

This is week 4 in my 52 weeks of blogging and the task for the week is to set goals and share them.
I have no problem setting goals it's the sharing that freaks me out. It makes you have to be accountable to those goals because someone else might be listening/reading. I think having goals is a great thing I am just not one to stick to them.
Had to add a picture of The Girl. Here she is taking care of her Lala's (dolls).

So here is my list, I am sure there will be more goals to come.
-list more items in my etsy store and list more often
-get sales in etsy, I am not going to say 50 for the year or anything like that because I will be happy to get 1 sale although 50+ would be awesome!
-get more organized this goes for my beads and my paperwork
-have a booth at a craft fair. I have never done one and I am a bit freaked out by the whole concept
-host a minimum of 3 home jewelry parties. The 1st one is already booked!
-actually finish ALL 52 weeks of this course
-finish my journaling class with Stephanie Lee.
-finish the scarf and cowl I started crocheting -update 1/30/11 I actually finished the scarf!!! WooHoo!
-learn to knit
-blog more often
-loose weight ugh I hate this one and I am just putting it out there because it might help me even though I really don't want to diet or even really care about it right now but sometime this year I'd like to try to drop a few.
-have it all, a clean house, organized paperwork, time to craft, and time for family. (It's called a schedule and I need to make one!)
-make more jewelry!
-and money!!!
Almost done I promise...

Okay so there is my list as of right now. Do you have any goals you would like to share? Leave me a comment below I love to hear from you guys.

First of all those cheeks are ridiculous cute! I have sworn to be ORGANIZED too!!! I am determined not to be flumuxed at tax time so I signed up with Outright. I am hoping this helps me to keep myself organized tax wise. I would like to do at least one - three shows this year - I don't think I have nearly enough inventory - so I must get more actual pieces done...EKKK ... and if I could lose weight while all that was going on - BONUS!!! We can't even walk around outside right now...sigh...plus I am a total coffee/chocoholic addict....sigh....well there's the whole mess - now I've got to stick with it! : P

I'd like to learn to knit too. Are you going to take a class?

Hi Anonymous! thanks for posting here. No I am not taking a class (wouldn't even know where to find one) I am self taught with most of the things I try. My sister in law (who is a doll) is a knitter and always willing to teach me new things. It was because of her help (and my mom's) that I learned to crochet!

My list is very similar to yours. I agree, it is easy to have the goals in my head, sharing them is tough! You will rock, I know it. :)

Like you, I'm not so good at sticking with goals. Doesn't matter if they're shared or not ;) And yep, I'm right there with you on about the last 4 or 5! And jealous that you're taking Stephanie's journalling class - let me know how you like it! You will rock all of your goals too, no doubt about that!

Goals are great. I think just having them makes at least some of them happen. It gets your mind's attention, and that is half of success. I am sure you will do fine.

You will get there - a little at a time, day by day - when you have a moment. Get back on track the next day if you have a crazy one in there…

I have been doing Weight Watchers and it works for me. I LOVE food - texture, taste… But with WW - you have to keep track of what is going in, and if you play it right (actually eating better for yourself and your family) you will be amazed how the weight just comes off. Not saying it does anything for the mamma pancake belly flop (I've had 2 kids). But my pants are getting looser. It is amazing what happens when you pay attention to food…
