Finally Friday - Updated

It's Finally Friday!

Although I really liked last weeks palette when I first sat down to start to create with it I was stumped.

spring greens

I have never really created with all those greens before.
Then I remembered that I only needed to be inspired by the palette and this wasn't a challenge that had rules.
I love rules, couldn't you tell? I am not one to go up a down staircase even if it means walking around, I am horrified anyone would even consider parking in a handicapped space and oh my gosh I am shocked that there are people out there that don't pay their bills for so long their creditors are calling their family. So I am very hard on myself when it comes to rules.
I decided that this challenge was not going to be as challenging as I was making it.

So, here are the pieces I am extremely excited to show you which I made for this week:

etched copper

handmade earwires and glass

the most super awesome wrap bracelet ever!

etched copper, stamped copper riveted together

indonesian glass beads and vintage lucite beads salvaged from a broken necklace

loving this bracelet!

The color palette for next week is:
Design-Seeds

The rules:
Look at color palette.
Be inspired.
Gather supplies inspired by that color palette.
Create something wonderful.
Anything, jewelry, clothes, a painting, even a big 'ole mess.
Take a picture.
Post on your blog.
Link palette to Design Seeds.
Add link here.
Play again the following week!

So did you make anything inspired by this weeks palette? Be sure to add your link below.
thank you for stopping by, I really do appreciate you reading my blog and I hope you will join in next week.

and an Update I just realized I forgot a bracelet that I made specifically for this challenge, lol.
Here it is:
etched copper, handmade chain and clasp, Czech glass beads

I am loving my little logo tags :-)

Shannon the pieces are fabulous! Love that bracelet though!!! Glad you were able to break the rules :) Though I am stickler for rules too, I think it is left over from my Army days.
Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend!

My dad was in the military, and if us kids even thought about breaking rules he knew about it--maybe even before we did. So I'm with you on that issue.

I love your etched pieces, and the wrapped bracelet is just lovely!

I wanted so badly to participate today but just didn't have the time to get anything made. But next weeks palette is lovely!!!!

Yeah that first wrap bracelet is stunning. Very cool. I like to think that "some" rules are made to be broken. Have a good weekend!

Shannon,
I love the earrings and both bracelets. I also am a rule follower, but I do break a few here and there. Your little logo tags are so cute. Next week's color palette is dreamy.
