1800's Cemetery Inspiration

Next to the house we stay at in Upstate NY there is this old Church and Cemetery.
I got the chance on Saturday to walk over there and take some photos.
I love the old headstones, their shapes are so inspiring.

Happy Monday!

Beautiful photos! I love the ones of the old church. What wonderful textures!

Our family loves visiting cemeteries. The old stones are just beautiful, and there is so much history there. Just down the road from us is an old cemetery for the poor and the negros. Of course it's no longer used, and is now gated off so we can't get in.But we can see a few of the stones from the road. I wonder how many of these people have been forgotten.

You totally have to tell me where this is! I would love to see it in person!

Wow - awesome photos!! I love going to cemeteries to take pics! The photos of the old barn are fantastic! Love the rusty hinges and the weathered boards!
