What's on my bead table today?

Yikes, that's one messy table.
Pretty much all I did today was work on my Mac. I haven't worked on any jewelry at all today because I have been editing pics for my finally friday post. What's that? Check it out here.

Bead Table Wednesday 4/20/2011

Hello and welcome to another installment of Bead Table Wednesday. I finally figured out that it would not be as hectic if I wrote my BTW post on Tuesday night. Duh, right. Well I have thought to do it before Wed but never actually have.
I wanted to show off the super cool thing my crafty hubby made me the other day.

They are interlocking bead trays. I bought the felt bead mats at Michaels and wanted trays to put them in the keep track of projects/inspiration while I am waiting on orders/supplies to come in. I have been known to clean up a project while waiting on beads only to forget what the heck I bought the beads for in the first place. So here is my simple solution. I even have room on the sides to put a tag or label. I was thinking of getting those things they put on the photo boxes (I cannot think what they are called).
Okay so now what is in my boxes?
Box 1 has some precious metal clay charms I made the other day.

Box 2 has 2 pair of earrings (I blurred them out so you can't see) I am waiting on materials for (I ran out of all my Vintaj supplies!) and the rest of the boxes are hidden because they have my button swap piece in 1 and a magazine submission in the other.

Bead Table Wednesday 4/6/2011

Hello and happy Wednesday.
I am happy to bring you today's issue of BTW.
Be afraid, be very afraid of the photo you are about to see.
My table is a mess! A big, huge mess. Now remember this area doubles as my kitchen island! My poor understanding husband always has to move things to eat dinner.
I have a good excuse though, I have been super busy and super motivated. Somehow deadlines do that to me. They make me shake my keister, big time.

Bead Table Wednesday 3/23/11

Welcome to another addition of Bead Table Wednesday. I can only show you a tiny piece of my table today because I have a piece in the works and I don't want to spoil it.
As some will notice right away that is a dragonfly from Nancy Schindler of Round Rabbit. I am trying to use up a lot of Nancy's pieces before her next update. She is having one today that I am not counting so I can buy a few things.

Here is my table this morning. Last night I finished working an a few pieces and decided to go through some of my Nancy Schindler pieces. Yes, these are only a few of them I have a problem. I think I might need rehab. The glass beads are from Amanda of Sea Shore Glass.

Bead Table Wednesday 2/23/11

Good Morning,
Unfortunately I cannot show you all my bead table this morning because it has Bead Soup all over it. With the big reveal being this Saturday I have been feverishly working on my piece(s).

So here part of my table/kitchen island. I snapped this photo on my HTC EVO which I am in love with. These are beads patiently waiting to be put away. You see I bead in my kitchen but my beads are stored in a small bedroom down the hall. In that bedroom? Three of my four dogs beds and my cat. They don't like when I go in and out of their room too much when they are trying to sleep so I have been trying to grab a bunch of beads to take with me or to put away. That way I am not in and out too much.
I know that must sound strange to some but my dogs are very happy having their beds in the room because they are all female and this way there is no fighting over beds.
Just last night I started a 15 minute bead table clean up. I set the stove timer and took 15 minutes to sort and organize my beads. I swiped this mermaid plat from my daughter (she's 20 months) and put on it the beads I am finished with. This worked out great. In the 15 minutes I actually got a lot done and I was not overwhelmed. I know there is a ton more organizing to do but I will save that for tonight's 15 minutes ;-)
